Not only is he a world class footballer, in-demand brand ambassador and father of four, Mr David Beckham is a businessman in his own right, having revived venerable Savile Row sportswear brand, Kent & Curwen.
We spent the day with Mr Beckham, starting in the passenger seat of his 1969 Porsche 911 as he drove from his home in Holland Park to the offices of Kent & Curwen in Mayfair, to put the finishing touches to it launch collection, which MR PORTER is stocking exclusively in its first month.
To celebrate the launch, Mr Beckham, the brand’s co-owner, talks us through its history, the inspiration behind the new collection, and the design process.
