One of the highlights of Peaky Blinders, the British series from the BBC, is the characterization of the main character, namely Thomas Shelby. The character is described as someone who is calm, cunning, manipulative, and often makes decisions that endanger his family members and friends, to the point of working with several groups that endanger his side. With an interesting and complex character background combined with Cillian Murphy’s excellent acting, the Peaky Blinders series became popular around the world and won many awards.
