Hi Hunnies! This tutorial is inspired by Rihanna’s skirt in the second part of her video ‘Work’ featuring Drake. These skirts came out so well that I’m definitely making more for the summer. Note: The First Tutorial is the best choice but the second option are for those that don’t want to throw away their favorite pair of jeans that have those hard to remove silver studs.
The finished results of the second DIY skirt will post on my Facebook by Monday. This skirt will be cut more like the one she had on her video. Also, some clips that didn’t make the cut will be on there too. Including some hip shaking from Leilah and I (big ups to my fam from Jamaica and St. Vincent & the Grenadines ^_^)
You can use any pair of jean or pants for your waist band and any type of shirt (tank, sleeves, sleeveless…) to achieve this look. The skirt fit me well without having to alter it. However if you need to make adjustments, follow the instructions on my DIY Shirt into Skirt tutorial. I hope that helps 🙂 Ta!
