The photos are finally here and we’ve got all the details on David Beckham’s Elle UK cover!
The magazine first teased us a few weeks back with a video that alluded to the fact that our favorite soccer stud might be shirtless and in a pool and sure enough he is—for subscribers at least!
There are two different July covers of the mag—subscribers to the UK edition of the mag will receive their David Beckham, shirtless showing off his potential 12 pack.
Beckham is soaking wet—wearing just jeans with his hair slicked back and tattoos in full force.
The mag talks about womanly things on the cover—summer shopping and sandals but the focus is pretty much all on their first ever solo male cover boy.
This is the first time the magazine has ever used a man on the cover by himself—and what a history making choice in honor of the 2012 Olympic games which will be held in London.
The second cover which will be on newsstands is still just as amazing with Beckham leaning over the pool in a grey tee with a close up on his face—and those eyes, we can’t even handle it.
The soon to be legendary issue will hit newsstands this week—but a little teaser we get from the interview is how he views himself. He told the mag, quote… “How would I sum myself up? I don’t know I prefer other people to do that…. Erm a little bit shy.”
Well, we can sum it up for you David—soccer star with a hot wife, a knack for fashion and a humble heart is not too shabby!
