Conor McGregor lives a life most of us can only ever dream of replicating. He flies to lavish locations around the world whenever he wants, drives the most expensive cars on the planet and throws money around like it’s confetti. Pictures from luxurious parties often flood his social media channels. The 29-year old Irish phenom has become the biggest drawcard in not only the UFC, but fighting in general.
The Notorious doesn’t so much have a fleet of cars, as a large showroom. His garage was already stocked with a Mercedes S500 AMG Coupe, a Cadillac Escalade, a Range Rover, a BMW 4 series, a BMW 5 series, and a BMW i8. But the 27-year-old Dubliner – who was driving an Opel Astra until a few years ago – recently added a £150,000 Bentley Continental GTC, a limited edition £300,000 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster and a £400,000 Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, a Bently. “I’m building a proper fleet,” he says.
Mystic Mac may wear boxing shorts in the ring and a vest and trackies at the gym. But the former plumber’s apprentice from the mean streets of Crumlin, south Dublin, is more often seen in silk suits and snake skin shoes. He captioned an Instagram of himself stood outside a Dolce and Gabanna, in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles: “God bless the Italians and their fine silks.” In fact, he even has his own signature “Conor McGregor Reebok Furylite” trainers. Bud Light, Monster Energy and Volvo are among the other brands paying for the Conor McGregor name.
