We start at the 2006 Fashion Rocks Concert, where we Rihanna chose to flaunt herself in a silver gown. And a few months ago at the Grammy Awards, Rihanna can be seen wearing a red dress. You may be familiar with the designer of Rihanna’s red dress, Alaïa. If you’ve ever watching the ’95 film Clueless you may remember the infamous robbery scene where Cher shouts out “this is an Alaïa!”- that would be the same designer still going big! At the Grammy Awards in 2012, Rihanna chose to switch up hair for a wavy blonde matched perfectly with her black daring dress. So there you have it, trends and risks make Rihanna a fashion icon.
