We are back with another archive video! This time with the help of Shoptagr, we are showing you a collection of mostly Italian garments but each with their own flounce and flare! We start off with a dress worn by Kendall Jenner to open the Diane Von Furstenberg’s Fall 2015 collection! This particular dress wasn’t worn by Kendall, but the style was, and it’s still one of the best DVF shows I’ve ever seen! The wool and lace dress captures a maturity without making itself feel old! Next we saw a damask top from Prada’s Spring 2002 collection, which was beautifully made and just a really lovely textile. Next was a green striped shirt from Prada’s Spring 2011, which has references to the Rococo period and mirrors from that time, at least in my opinion! Then we saw Italian designer Stella Jean’s take on wax prints, which was beautiful in both sight and make. Getting to see wax print styles in real life is a true pleasure, and getting to see the subtleties of her wax and stripe ethos was lovely too. We finished out the video by seeing a strapless dress from the Spring 2011 Prada show, which is very similar to the tee-shirt from earlier.
