A few big things went down at the 2000 Grammy Awards like Britney Spears wowing the audience with a performance of “Baby One More Time” and Elton John being given the Legends Award. But looking back, I think we can all agree that the evening belonged to Jennifer Lopez and her green Versace jungle dress. Ironically, J.Lo didn’t give much thought to the outfit but the sheer gown with V neck dropping down past her belly button didn’t leave much to the imagination. The ensemble – now often referred to as “The Dress” – had quite the effect.
