Number 5: Family Life
Billie is quite big on family and having a great relationship with her father, mother and big brother. Her heritage is Irish and Scottish. Hers was an entertainment household, so she was homeschooled as a kid. She spent a lot of time growing up around her family. Even now as a pop star, she makes out time from her work and touring to meet up regularly with her family.
Also, her brother Finneas is a producer and member of a band who inspired her single “Ocean Eyes” which was released on Soundcloud in 2016. Most of Billie’s songs are written by or with Finneas who also produces her music and performs with her for live shows. Their bond of the dynamic duo is undeniable and it is believed that without her brother, Billie’s sounds might have never been discovered. When they were working on her latest album, they chose to record from home instead of the label’s studio because Billie believed it makes the creativity flow at any time and they could work whenever the inspiration struck her. To her, it made her songs more complete and real. Her family’s background is the foundation for all that she is now and she makes sure to always be there with them.
Number 4: Her crush on Justin Bieber
Billie’s a true belieber, so she has fangirled over Justin Bieber at every chance she got. This should not come as a shock to anyone because Bieber is the teenage crush of a million young girls. Billie Eilish has always been open about her love for Justin Bieber. During a radio interview, Billie talked about just how serious her obsession with Justin Bieber was. It was serious enough to shed a few tears.
Number 3: Fashion
From the red carpet to her on-stage performances, Billie’s fashion style remains constant. When it comes to her style, Billie Eilish is known for wearing anything she wants as long as it is baggy. She prefers the oversize baggy clothes to the elaborate form-fitting outfits most stars wear. To her, her fashion choices are more of her persona – easy, comfortable and different. She likes to be the one person who doesn’t look like everyone else in the room and we sure can tell you that she is killing it in that department. Eilish launched her merchandise shop, Blohsh, earlier in 2019 with a clothing collection of sweatshirts, T-shirts, shorts and beanies in neon colors and featuring graphic designs reminiscent of the looks Eilish has become known for.
In an interview, Billie explained that another reason why she wears her loose outfits is because she is hiding her body from the paparazzi. She has seen how other stars in the limelight have been bodyshamed for being too skinny or for putting on weight and she would rather have people focus on her talents than on the way her body looks. That is quite a price to pay for fame.
She believes the layers upon layers she wears add to her mystery. She might be on to something with this one.
Number 2: Dancing
When Billie Eilish is not fangirling other celebrities, binge-watching The Office or interacting with her fans who are mostly her age mates, she is dancing like every regular teenager! She comes from a very musical family. Billie’s brother and mother are songwriters, and her dad plays both the piano and ukulele. She has been a member of the Los Angeles dance studio since she was eight years old. There are videos of her online, performing different dance routines with other members of the studio.

Billie Eilish totally loves the show – The Office – which has run for up to eight years. She admits to watching the complete series more than a dozen times. Billie sampled sound bites and the opening lines from the “Threat Level Midnight” episode when the characters watch a fake movie they made themselves on her song ‘My Strange Addiction’ on the debut album which the creators of ‘The Office’ loved. They thought it was brilliant what she did with the audio.
