No one can do a ponytail quite like Ariana Grande. Her iconic ponytail is her signature look. Some people don’t recognize her without it. The sleek ponytail is one of envy. Throughout the years, she’s curled it, dyed it, and even paired it with cat ears. No matter what style, she always has her signature pony. Did you know she achieved the look with extensions? When she was on the Broadway musical, 13, Ariana Grande let her hair down. But soon she was cast as Cat Valentine in Nickelodeon’s Victorious and soon after, Sam and Cat. For this character, she had to dye her hair bright red. It was hard to maintain as it had to be bleached and dyed every other week. All that product made her hair very damaged, so when she started her music career she chose a ponytail to hide her hair imperfections. Overtime, she’s come to love her ponytail as it’s part of her identity. She doesn’t let criticism bother her. However, in this past quarantine, she’s given fans glimpses of her natural hair. It is gorgeous and fully healed from all the bleaching.
