Selena Gomez showed up BIG TIME at the 2014 Met Gala in a stunning burgundy gown that had all eyes on her!
We’ve been waiting in anticipation for fashion’s biggest night out and it has sadly come and gone, but Selena’s look is one to remember!
The 21 year old star arrived in an elegant Diane Von Furstenburg gown that couldn’t have been more perfect for the star studded evening.
The deep V showed off just the right amount of skin and the tight sillouhette showed off Selena’s slim figure.
The mermaid bottom and the detailing along the neckline really notched up the simple elegance of the frock.
The burgundy hue of the dress proved to be a great way to throw in some color to her look without making it too playful and flirty—but instead sophisticated and regal.
I love that she matched her lips to the color of the dress—it really tied everything together. The rest of her makeup was fab as well—some long lashes, precise black eyeliner, a pop of shimmer and strong brows were the ideal way to go.
As for Selena’s hair—it was out of her face with some volume at the crown and pulled back into an elegant layered updo. Personally, a look I’d love to rock at my next big event—it’s simple, but intricate!
And for jewelry—Selena chose some statement pieces by Lorraine Schwartz that gave her look for the night the edge it needed. Her matching earrings and ring were a diamond take on the spike trend and it was a great way to round out Selena’s overall ensemble!
