This was a super fun project! I made this whole thing without a single paper pattern and you can, too! The skirt is a series of trapezoid shapes, with the waist being the measurement at the top, the length being the sides and the bottom measurement set to whatever you’d like.
Unfortunately I found the lace at a deadstock shop, and so I am not sure it is available any more. You’re going to want to look for a lace with a really delicate print, even smaller than mine. I bought seven yards but only used about 5, so I had plenty of room if I messed up. I used 40 yards of 6inch wide blue trim and 40 yards of 1 inch wide black trim, again all deadstock material. If you’re going to do this I would recommend shopping around for your laces and trims, the materials can get quite expensive if you’re not careful!
This whole look cost me $89 to make!
I used this A-line skirt tutorial to make the long skirt, then used it again to break up a second long skirt into two more tiers (45″-30″-15″) for the look.

For fabric I recommend shopping locally or at a deadstock shop, or checking Etsy for cheap lace and lace trims! If you don’t have a timeline, ordering directly from China is a good bet.
