Selena Gomez and I have worked together since 2014. On this episode, I get into how we created our latest project together: the photographic art for her latest album, “Revelación.” The song lyrics are in Spanish, so we explored Latin culture—the colors of Mexico City, artworks by Frieda Kahlo and Diego Rivera—and worked with the photographer Camila Falquez, who through color interaction produced a fresh and modern take.
In addition to detailing the various looks, including a Valentino couture dress, I FaceTime with fashion icon Giambattista Valli, floral designer Laurel St. Romain, emerging design talent Harris Reed, and Selena herself.
