Earlier this year Blue Ivy turned 7 years old and now Beyonce is gracing the internet with adorable pictures from the day and I can’t emphasize how excited this makes me.
What’s up? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and we RARELY get an intimate look at Beyonce and Jay-Z’s family. Like we get a little bit here and there from vacations or performance but we never really get a look at their regular life. So you can imagine my excitement when I saw pics from Blue Ivy’s golden birthday on Queen Bey’s website.
And if you’re a member of the Beyhive you know that Blue’s birthday is January 7th, so this year she turned 7 on the 7th which means it was her golden birthday.But Blue didn’t want just your average gold themed golden birthday party, she wanted a rose gold theme. A girl after my own heart. I love a rose gold moment.
In the pics from the pretty party, Blue wore pink jumpsuit, dangling diamond earrings, and a colorful long braid. Seriously this 7 year old is giving me massive hair envy that braid is everything. Everyone at the party seemed to be having a great time.
There were pink decorations everywhere including robes for all the attendees and teepees throughout the space. And what really mattered is that Blue looked like she was having the time of her life.She hopped in the DJ booth with her dad Jay-Z, she played an intense game of tug of war, and strutted down a confetti-covered runway.
She even had an outfit change for the runway moment and rocked a gold sequin dress.You know what they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and they’re right.
Blue was giving me ALL sorts of Beyonce vibes in these pics and I loved it. And while the party was definitely all about Blue, her two siblings, 2-year-old twins Rumi and Sir, also made an adorable appearance.
In one pic, a smiling Beyoncé held up Sir and in another Rumi smiled while standing with her mom.The new pics on Bey’s website come shortly after she shared an adorable photo from Halloween with her twins. It seems like her website is the place to be if you want a look inside her private life, so if you didn’t know, know you know. You’re welcome.
Anyway, in the halloween shot, Beyonce dressed as Lisa Bonet and held Rumi and Sir. The look recreated a shot of Lisa, her ex Lenny Kravitz, and their daughter, Zoe Kravitz.
And after the pic went up on Bey’s website, Zoe took to Instagram to gush over Beyoncé’s tribute. And celebs were so here for Zoe’s posts. And while we are getting new pics on Beyonce’s website, we also got a look at her their life in the recent ABC special, “The Lion King: The Gift.”
We got to see Bey, Jay-Z and their kids, Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir on a trip to Africa.
Beyonce spoke about going to Africa in the doc.And we also got some never before seen clips of Rumi and Sir. Queen Bey was being adorably sweet with Rumi asking her what sounds different animals make. We also got to see Rumi and Sir in their car seats in a video Beyonce filmed while in Africa. There were also some cute clips of Blue being her adorable self. Beyonce and Blue sang, danced, and wore matching outfits.
Blue also got to show off her singing skills while recording “Brown Skin Girl.”
And I don’t know what we did to deserve all this Carter family content, but I am definitely here for it. But I want to know what you guys think.
